All final images on CD will be ready within 2 weeks of your
photo session.
How many people can be included in a session?
Your photography
package includes a per head fee beyond the initial package.
Please make sure you understand the what your photography
package includes. Remember, the more people you bring,
the less time we will have individually. However, we recommend
(especially with newborns) bringing in siblings, parents,
and even grandparents - make your session worth your while!
Travel:

FAQs
You don't use film?
We work with a professional digital camera; we made the switch
to digital after improvements in digital technology made professional
digital images of a high enough resolution to be comparable
to film and a fast enough speed to capture an instant expression.
Digital sessions have many benefits:
- You can make your color choice after your session, you
are not limited to the type of film in the camera at the
time the image was photographed.
- Retouching can also be done more quickly on digital images
because they do not have to be scanned or use the tedious
process of painting on a negative, again cutting down on
processing time and improving the quality of your prints.
Why is your session fee higher than others?
The session fee covers your time with the photographer and
post-processing time. All digitals are given to you on a DVD.
Other photographers may offer a smaller sitting fee, but their
per photo/reproduction fee is extremely high (upwards of $100
per 8x10 photo and $20 per 4x6 photo - and that doesn't include
the minimum order required of $1,200 or more). This fee comparison
is equavalent to our quality and standards.
Our goal is to make life easier for everyone while getting
paid for our time and talent, and still making it affordable.
Where can I get my prints made?
We offer a list of recommended local resources including
Costco and Sam's Club. This sheet will be given to you with
your final DVD and photographer's release.
What is sepia?
- Pronounced “SEE-pee-ah”
- Sepia is similar to black and white but it has a subtle
brown. Many people think of sepia as brown. And it is, however,
there are many different sepia tones.
- In comparison to sepia, true black and white can often
look “blue”; it is a cooler image.
What if the baby is asleep the whole time?
We have had sessions where the baby is asleep for most of
the session and we embrace this time! There are so many wonderful
creative things you can do at that time while molding them
for cuddly poses.
What if he/she is fussy?
If your baby is fussy during the session you have the option
to stop the session before you've reached half of the maximum
of time and reschedule the remainder of your session ($150
additional sitting fee is required). If we spend the entire
session with you and then you decide to reschedule, a new
sitting fee ($300) applies.
Please do not schedule a session for your child within the
week following a vaccination. We find babies and children
are often fussier than usual, and wary of strangers as well.
How young do people bring their newborns in?
We will photograph your little one as early as you feel comfortable
bringing them in. They grow so fast in those first few weeks
that they loose their “newborn” look quickly.
People bring their newborns in as early as three days old,
we recommend bringing them in the first month if you want
to capture that “newborn baby” look.
Do you photograph pets?
Yes. We understand that our pets are often as much a part
of our families as people are. However, it is important to
remember that being in a new environment can make pets excitable
or nervous making them more challenging to photograph.
We do not schedule sessions for pets only; we photograph
pets as an extension of your family.
